Golden Blossom Honey approached Roth Radio in order to help expand distribution and sales of their honey products in their core Northeast markets, as well as to help them expand in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. Golden Blossom was facing stagnant sales as a result of their premium quality product its higher price-point.
Roth Radio created a radio campaign that positioned Golden Blossom as the premium honey product, emphasizing quality, purity and superior taste.
Although media budgets were limited, we ran a short but highly focused campaign during strategic pre-holiday times.
The initial results exceeded expectations, and resulted in immediate sales increases. Over the subsequent 2 years, Golden Blossom followed by increasing the number of radio flights per year leading to their gaining larger increases in both category market share and sales growth.
